ASTON, Pa. - The Neumann University women's ice hockey team finished its season with a 3-2 win over Chatham University on Saturday afternoon in Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) West action.

Before puck drop, the Knights honored its eight seniors; playing in their final collegiate game: Casey Kilduff, Jessica Langdon, Megan Russelo, Jaclyn King, Donna Williams, Justina Mayr, Ashley Langdon, Lauren Cusack.

Neumann got on the board first as Bek Lucas scored the first goal at the 10:05 mark of the first period. Seniors Williams and Kilduff grabbed the assist. The Cougars answered back to tie the game at one with 1:58 left in the first period.

In the second period, Chatham took a 2-1 lead at the 8:08 mark. With 4:31 left in the period, Jessica Langdon scored to knot the game, 2-2. Grace Klienbach had the assist.

As tie was winding down in regulation, Jackie Schneider netted the game-winning goal with just 49 seconds left on the clock. Russelo tallied the assist. The Cougars pulled their goalie, but the Knights were able to hang on for the 3-2 win on senior day.

Mayr made 33 saves in net to end her collegiate career with a win.

Neumann finishes its season 6-18-1 overall and 3-14-1 in conference.
