ASTON, Pa. - The Neumann University women's basketball team defeated Rosemont College 76-60 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

AAliya Hayes and
JoHanna Metzger both notched a double-double. Hayes netted 17 points with 17 rebounds. Metzger added 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Nafisa Saunders scored 11 points and
Sarah Roberts netted 10 points. Nine Knights contributed baskets for the win.

Rosemont scored the first basket of the game. Neumann answered by scoring the next 17 points and held a 24-12 lead after the first 10 minutes. Roberts opened the second quarter with a three-pointer as the Knights outscored the Ravens 17-9 for a 41-21 lead at the half.

The Ravens started the second half going on an 11-2 run. Rosemont comeback attempt cut into Neumann's lead for a 57-42 lead after three quarters.

The teams battled evenly during the final quarter, so the Knights were able to use the lead built throughout the game to come away with the 76-60 conference win.

Neumann (11-10, 9-3 CSAC) will travel to Keystone College on Wednesday night for CSAC action starting at 7:00 PM.
