BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team fell 15-2 at Moravian College on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.
Rob Neri scored both goals for the Knights.
Tylar Schlimme and
Ryan Lee tallied the assists.
Antonio Gibson made 15 saves in net.
The Greyhounds scored the only two goals of the first quarter.
Neri scored his first goal at the 10:54 mark of the second quarter to cut Moravian's lead in half. The Greyhounds answered with four straight goals to increase their lead to 6-1. Neri netted the final goal of the half with 47 seconds left on the clock for a 6-2 score at the half.
The Knights were not able to crack the Greyhounds keepers through the second half while Moravian netted four goals in the third quarter and five in the fourth for the 15-2 final.
Neumann (1-9) will travel to Marywood on Saturday for non-conference action beginning at 1:00 PM.
