SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team fell at Marywood University 18-5 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
 
Jeremy Pierson scored two goals for the Knights. Antonio Gibson made nine saves in net.
 
The Pacers scored the first two goals of the game. Rob Neri then put the Knights on the board. Marywood scored two goals to finish the first half with a 4-1 lead.
 
Adam Fagan opened the scoring in the second quarter. After the Pacers found the back of the net, Ryan Lee scored for a 5-3 game. Marywood then netted four straight to end the first half and take a 9-3 lead into halftime.
 
Pierson netted his first goal midway through the third quarter and his second during the fourth quarter. However, the Pacers were able to score five goals in the third and four in the final quarter for the 18-5 final.
 
Neumann (1-10, 0-5) will head back home to finish the regular season. The Knights will host Rosemont on Saturday for senior day. Face-off is slated for 5:00 PM.
