IMMACULATA, Pa. – The No. 17 Neumann University men's basketball got back into the win column with a 92-79 win at Immaculata University on Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.
DeAndre Williams is finding his groove with the Knights and netted 24 points, including six three-pointers.
Darian Barnes tallied a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds. He also blocked three shots.
DeShawn Lowman scored 19 points and
Tony Parker added 12 points.
Carl Wallace had eight points and handed out seven assists.
The Knights came out and scored the first six points of the game with two baskets by Barnes and one by Lowman. Each team went on mini runs throughout the first half, which no one building up a huge lead. With under three minutes left in the first half, and Neumann holding a 33-32 lead, the Knights ended the half on an 8-1 run to take a 41-33 lead into the break.
Immaculata scored the first basket of the second half, but Neumann answered with a 15-0 run to take control of the contest, 56-35. The Knights biggest lead of the half came midway, 71-44.
Neumann (13-1, 7-0 CSAC) will head home for the first of three straight games on Saturday when it will host Centenary. The CSAC is slated to get underway at 3:00 PM.
