HACKETTSTOWN, Pa. - The Neumann University men's soccer team fell in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play at Centenary University by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Despite controlling a large portion of the opening half, the Knights found themselves down a goal at the halftime break. After conceding a goal midway through the frame, Neumann had numerous chances to get the game tied.
Billy Swontek and
Dan Kirshner had the best opportunities for the Knights, each ripping the ball off the post.
Centenary took command of the game early in the second half. The Cyclones scored twice in the first 15 minutes of the period and used solid defending the rest of the way to close out the 3-0 win.
Neumann (6-6-1, 4-2-1 CSAC) will look to bounce back on Saturday, October 21st when it takes on Cairn University on Senior Day. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
