RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker at Cabrini University on Thursday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) semifinal action.
The only goal of the game came in the seventh minute on a penalty kick as the Knights were called for a handball in the box.
Overall, the shots were even for the game total. The Cavaliers had the advantage in the first half, 13-5, while the Knights outshot the Cavaliers 11-4 in the second half.
Perry Corsetti made eight saves in net for Neumann.
Neumann (8-8-1) will now wait for the ECAC announcement on Monday to see if its season will continue.
