ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team couldn't overcome a slow start and fell to Moravian College 13-8 on Tuesday evening.
 
Chase Fraser led the Knights with four goals, 19 shots and 13 grounds balls. Chris Augustine tallied a goal and two assists. Ryan Lee added a goal and an assist. Brendan Risley made 14 saves in net and picked up 10 ground balls.
 
Moravian netted three quick goals five minutes into the game. With the Greyhounds leading 4-0, Fraser scored his first goal to put the Knights on the board. Moravian netted one more goal in the first quarter for a 5-1 lead after the first 15 minutes.
 
Fraser scored three straight goals to start the second quarter to bring the Knights within one 5-4. The Greyhounds answered with three to end the half and take an 8-4 lead into the half.
 
Moravian scored the only two goals of the third quarter. The Greyhounds continued their stretch of goals with two more to start the fourth quarter and hold a 12-4 lead.
 
Adam Fagan broke Moravian's run with a goal with 8:12 left in the fourth quarter and the Knights would score four of the final five goals in regulation. Augustine followed Fagan with a goal. The Greyhounds scored their final goal with 4:25 left in regulation. Lee and Steven Andreas both scored in the final 1:04 of the game for the 13-8 final.
 
Neumann (2-6) gets back into conference action this weekend as its hosts Centenary. Face-off is slated for 2:00 PM on Saturday.
