ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Neumann University softball team took two games, both in five innings, at Rosemont College on Sunday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. Game scores were 13-0 and 8-0.
 
In the first game, Jackie Schneider went 3-for-3 with a homerun, two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored. Jen Sieminski went 4.0 innings for the win. She allowed two hits and struck out 10. Taylor Naman pitched the fifth inning and allowed a hit.
 
The Knights scored at least a pair of runs in every inning. Schneider hit her two-run homerun in the first inning. Kara Grogan hit a two-run single in the third inning. Schneider hit a two-run double in the fourth inning.
 
In game two, Schneider continued her dominance and hit her second homerun of the afternoon, sixth of the season. Kate Korte' hit a two-run double in the second and knocked her first collegiate homerun in the fifth.
 
Michaela Pembleton allowed just one hit in 4.0 innings for the win. Naman against closed out the game with a 1-2-3 fifth inning.
 
Neumann (8-8, 4-0 CSAC) will host Cairn tomorrow for a CSAC doubleheader beginning at 3:00 PM.
