MARC names All-NSCRO team...

The Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference is pleased to announce our NSCRO all-conference teams. Congratulations to all the hard working players that have been selected to the all-star teams. Nominations were based upon the recommendation of opposition coaches and scoring tallys from official matches as recorded in the scoring system.

The first team is represented by players from 7 different colleges with gold champion Susquehanna University having 6 players, Franklin and Marshall College having 3 players and Bucknell University having 2 players. Susquehanna University's Ryheem Powell, a junior prop was named league MVP as he led all of MARC with 16 tries on the season. Several of these players named to all-conference team from the NSCRO division played in the MARC East vs. West all-star game on December 2 with players from Division 1AA and Division 2 MARC teams.

We thank the following six coaches for serving as voters for the all-conference team: Mark Brandon; Haverford College, Larry Carroll; Franklin and Marshall College, Mark Dawson; PSU Berks, Larry McManus; Neumann University, Marty Migliori; Bucknell University, and Jon Niles; Susquehanna University.
