LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a 102-74 win at Cairn University on Saturday afternoon.
Billy Cassidy sank seven three-pointers en route to 29 points.
Aaron Johnson-Chavis had 20 points and 15 points for a double-double. He also added three blocks.
Raquan Brown-Johnson,
Tyaire Hudson and
Jordan Collins each added 13 points. Brown-Johnson also tallied eight assists and four blocks.
Isaiah Wilmore netted 10 points.
The Knights opened the game with two of the teams 12 three pointers, one by Cassidy and one by Collins. Midway through the first half, a three-pointer by Cassidy put Neumann up by double-digits, 26-15. Over the final 3:36 of the first, the Knights went on a 13-4 run to take a 55-33 lead into halftime.
The Knights steadily built up their lead throughout the second half. Cassidy's final three-pointer of the game put Neumann at the century mark as it cruised to the win.
Neumann (18-7, 13-5 CSAC) will be the No. 3 seed in the CSAC postseason. The Knights will host No. 6 seeded Keystone on Monday evening in a first round match-up beginning at 8:00 PM.
