GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball competed against Thiel College in Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) action on Saturday afternoon. The Knights fell in four sets, 3-1.
The Tomcats won the first two sets, 25-14 and 25-15. The Knights battled in set three and won in extra points, 32-30. Thiel responded with a 25-10 win in the fourth set for the win.
Roddy Rountree notched nine kills to lead Neumann.
Tomas Ybarra handed out 17 assists.
Pat Morgan tallied 11 digs.
The third set went back and forth the entire time. With the teams knotted at 30,
Andrew Kelly notched a kill for a one point lead. Neumann then took the set on an attack error by the tomcats for the 32-30 win.
Neumann (0-16, 0-8 CVC) will be off until March 7 when it will travel to Cairn for more CVC action beginning at 7:00 PM.
