WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Neumann University baseball team shutout Martin Luther College 11-0 on Friday afternoon.

Joey Gorman all had a pair of hits in the win. Gorman also scored three runs and hit a homerun.
Jared Morris started the game and went 5.0 innings for the win. He allowed just three hits and struck out seven.
Kutter Endy went 2.0 innings and allowed one hit and struck out two.
The Knights opened the scoring in the second inning. Gorman walked and
Curt Yenchik hit a two-run homerun.
Dan Padilla followed with another walk and later scored on an error. Gorman hit his homerun in the fourth inning. Yenchik walked and then scored on a single by
Andrew La Rosa. The Knights lead 5-0 after three inning.
Gorman doubled to lead off the fifth inning and scored on a single by
Colin Pollard. Padilla hit a two-run double in the sixth inning. The Knights added two more runs in the seventh inning for the 11-0 final.
Neumann (6-1) will wrap up its spring break trip tomorrow with a game against Capital. First pitch is slated for 9:15 AM.
