ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team celebrated senior night in its final home game of the season on Tuesday evening against Rutgers University – Newark. The Scarlet Raiders took the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) contest 3-0 by set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-12.
Before the match, the Knights honored its first senior class of
Pat Morgan and
Andrew Kelly.
Roddy Rountree had eight kills to lead the Knights. Morgan added six.
Tomas Ybarra handed out 13 assists. Kelly anchored the team with nine digs.
Neumann (0-20, 0-11 CVC) will head to No. 4 Kean University tomorrow evening for more conference action. The match is a reschedule match from one of the nor'easters from earlier this month. Action is slated to get underway at 5:30 PM.
