SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team swept Marywood University 9-0 on Friday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match.
The Knights made easy work in doubles action.
Rod Bradbury and
Daniel Rival picked up an 8-3 win at first doubles.
Evan King and
Billy Swontek won 8-2 in the second doubles flight.
Perry Corsetti and
Christian Cortese wrapped up doubles action with an 8-3 win at third doubles.
Rival (first singles), Swontek (fourth singles) and Cortese (fifth singles), all won their singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Bradbury won his second singles flight 6-1, 6-2. King took third single 6-2, 6-1 and
Jake McDevitt wrapped up the match with a 6-3, 6-1 win at sixth singles.
Neumann (7-2, 5-1 CSAC) will wrap up regular season play tomorrow at Cabrini. Action gets underway at 12:00 PM.
