KINGSTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Tuesday afternoon, as the team dropped a 9-0 result in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play on the road versus Marywood University.

The Knights hoped to end their season with a win, but Marywood made things difficult right from the start of the match. The Pacers claimed all three doubles matches to jump out to a quick 3-0 lead and put Neumann into a hole from which they could not recover.

Neumann looked to rebound in singles play, but the Pacers continued to assert their dominance. The Knights fought hard to the end, but Marywood was victorious in all six matches and took home the comfortable 9-0 win.

Neumann finishes its season with a record of 1-10 on the year. The young Knights will look to bounce back next season, as the team will return eight of its nine players.
