IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University softball team dropped a pair of games at Immaculata University on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. Game scores were 5-1 and 3-0.
In the first game, the Mighty Macs scored four runs in the fourth inning and added another in the fifth inning for a 5-0 lead.
Jackie Schneider hit a solo homerun in the top of the seventh for the Knights lone run of the game.
Jen Sieminski pitched the complete game, allowing five runs on nine hits and struck out eight.
In the second game, Immaculata scored two runs in the second inning and another in the fourth for the 3-0 score.
Taylor Sirolli started the game and went 5.0 innings. She allowed three runs on six hits.
Julia Casson pitched the sixth inning allowed a hit.
Neumann (19-14, 15-5 CSAC) will wrap up the regular season tomorrow at home with a doubleheader against Notre Dame (Md.). Action gets underway at 1:00 PM.
