Knights Upended by Highlanders

LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team fell in its first road game of the season 2-1 at Cairn University on Thursday afternoon
 
All of the scoring game in the second half. Cairn opened the scoring in the 53rd minute. The Highlanders doubled their lead to 2-0 after they converted a penalty shot in the 58th minute.
 
Megan Briggs found the back of the net off an assist from Carissa Britton in the 67th minute.
 
The Knights outshot the Highlanders 11-2 overall and 5-2 on goal.
 
Neumann (1-2) will host Notre Dame (Md.) on Saturday beginning at 1:00 PM.
