ARLINGTON, Va. – The Neumann University men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Marymount University on Wednesday evening in Atlantic East Conference action.
Marymount opened the scoring early, netting a goal in the sixth minute. The Saints added to their lead with a goal in the 22
nd minute and took the 2-0 lead into halftime.
Nick Testa put the Knights on the board in the 53
rd minute off an assist from
Ainsley Reid. Despite outshooting Marymount 17-13 overall and 8-6 on net, Neumann could not get the equalizer.
Seth Walker made four saves in net.
Neumann (3-9-1, 1-2 Atlantic East) remains on the road and will head to Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday afternoon. Action is slated to get underway at 12:00 PM.
