READING, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team fell to Albright College 87-38 in the season opener on Tuesday evening.
Terea Hunt tallied 10 points and seven rebounds for the Knights while
Shaylah Green added nine points.
The Lions came out of the gate strong and kept the Knights off the board as they built a 25-0 lead to start the game. Green put the first points on the board for the Knights with a three-pointer. Albright held a 34-8 lead after the first quarter. Albright took a 54-18 score into halftime.
The Knights kept pace with the Lions in the fourth quarter, but Albright used the lead built in the first half to cruise to the 87-38 win.
Neuman (0-1) will play its home opener on Thursday when it hosts Penn State Brandywine. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 PM.
