GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell at Gwynedd Mercy University 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference first round game.
 
Both teams were kept off the scoreboard in the first half. The Griffins scored their first goal six minutes into the second half. GMU added its second goal five minutes later and then tallied an insurance goal early in the fourth quarter for the 3-0 final.
 
Lizzie Yu made six saves in net. Tiffany Flowers notched two defensive saves while Nani Espada added one.
 
Neumann wraps up its season 5-13 overall.
