ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team dropped a 74-43 contest to Susquehanna University on Tuesday evening.
Tierra Harris led the Knights with 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
The Red Hawks took control of the game early. With a 3-3 score, Susquehanna went on a 15-0 run. The Knights scored the final seven points of the first quarter for an 18-10 score after the first 10 minutes. The teams were more balanced in the second quarter, but the Red Hawks took a 35-24 lead at the break.
Susquehanna built up its lead even more during the third quarter and held a 58-33 advantage heading into the final 10 minutes. The Red Hawks didn't let up and took home the 74-43 final.
Neumann (3-4) is right back on the court on Thursday when it hosts Valley Forge. Tip-off is slated for 6:00 PM.
