ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University softball team dropped a pair of contests to Rowan University on Thursday afternoon in a non-conference doubleheader. The final score in both games were 7-0.
 
The Profs scored three runs in the third, three in the sixth and one in the seventh in the first game. Nicole Wisser pitched the complete game for the Knights. Jackie Selby broke up the no-hit bid in the fifth inning. She reached base twice in the game, drawing a walk in the third inning.
 
In game two, Rowan plated a run in the first, three in the fourth and two in the seventh. Kaylee Fiocca pitched for Neumann. Once again, Selby broke up a no-hit bid, this time in the sixth innings. Jackie Schneider notched a hit in the sixth as well for the Knights' two hits in the contest.
 
Neumann (11-7) will open Atlantic East action on Saturday as it hosts Cabrini for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 PM.
