JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team wrapped up its season at a tri-match at New Jersey City University on Saturday. The Knights faced host NJCU and the Sage College, falling in both 3-0.
Against host New Jersey City, the Knights fell in three, 25-13, 25-14 and 25-23.
Ryan Bollinger led Neumann with eight kills.
Zack Strickland handed out 12 assists and tallied six digs.
The Knights held a 16-9 lead in the third set. The Gothic Knights battled back and tied the set at 19. The teams battled down the stretch by NJCU wrapped up the match with a 25-23 third set win.
In the second match, Neumann dropped to Sage Colleges. Set scores were 25-12, 25-10, 25-14. Strickland dished out eight assists.
Nick Shortlidge notched five digs.
Neumann wraps up its second season 3-19 overall.
