PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell in the Atlantic East Conference semifinals on Friday afternoon, dropping a 5-0 result to Immaculata University.
Immaculata dominated the match from start to finish, taking home victories at all three doubles matches to lead 3-0 early.
The Mighty Macs finished off the match quickly into singles play. Immaculata scored victories at first and fourth singles to clinch the 5-0 and advance to the conference title game tomorrow. With the fifth win sealed, the remainder of the matches were stopped and remained unfinished.
Neumann finishes its season with a record of 1-11. The Knights will look to continue to grow next season as they look to go further in the Atlantic East Conference playoffs.
