ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Neumann University defeated Rosemont College 3-0 on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-6, 25-13 and 25-14.
 
Ryan Bollinger led the Knights with nine kills and .467 hitting percentage. Conner Kolek added eight kills. Jules Maiorano handed out 21 assists.
 
Neumann started out strong and jumped out to an early 10-2 lead. Behind serving from Bollinger, the Knights scored the final nine points of the first set, capped on a kill by Kolek, for the 25-6 win.
 
The Knights steadily built  its lead throughout the second set and a kill by Bollinger sealed the 25-13 win. The Ravens took an early lead in the third set. Tied at 11, Neumann scored five straight points and nine of the next 10 for a 20-12 edge, en route to the 25-14 win.
 
Neumann (2-4) is right back in action tomorrow evening as it hosts Cairn beginning at 7:00 PM.
