ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team was downed by Marymount University 91-48 on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference match-up.
Aijea Fowler topped the Knights with 13 points.
Kiara Stovall contributed 10 points.
The Saints took control of the game early, scoring the nine of the first 11 points, and held a 15-point advantage after the first quarter, 19-4. Marymount kept the pressure on in the second quarter and took a 41-18 lead into the break. Throughout the second half, the Saints continued to control the contest and walked away with the 91-48 win.
Neumann (6-16, 2-7 Atlantic East) will prepare to travel to Immaculata on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
