ST. DAVID'S, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team fell to Eastern University 3-0 on Wednesday evening. Set scores were 25-9, 25-12 and 25-23.
 
Thomas McConnell tallied eight kills for the Knights. Jules Maiorano handed out 14 assists. Ryan Bollinger notched 11 digs.
 
In the third set, each team went on their own runs. At match points, McConnell tallied two straight kills to bring the Knights within one 24-23. Neumann couldn't get the tying point and Eastern took the final set 25-23.
 
Neumann (4-16) will get back into conference action on March 20 when it travels to Marymount. Action is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
