IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team scored late and took a 1-0 win home from Immaculata University on Wednesday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference contest.
Marissa Waters made her first start in net and made four saves for the shutout.
Chloe Britton scored the only goal of the game in the 86
th minute.
Kaitlin Thomas drew the assist on the game-winner.
The Knights outshot the Mighty Macs 10-9 overall and 6-4 on net. Neumann also notched eight corner kicks while not allowing one to Immaculata.
Neumann (6-7, 3-0 Atlantic East) will host Marymount on Saturday in its final home regular season game. Action is slated to get underway at 1:00 PM.
