ARLINGTON, Va. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team's season came an end in the Atlantic East Conference semifinals on Thursday evening as the Knights fell to Marymount University 3-0. Set scores were 25-23, 25-13 and 25-18.
 
Ariana Pena and Regan Hickey each had nine kills in the match. Dani Smith handed out 15 assists. Bre Hickey tallied nine digs.
 
Down 20-15 in the first set, R. Hickey notched two service aces as the Knights score five straight points to tie the game at 20. The Saints scored the next three points but kills by Pena and B. Hickey kept the Knights in the set. At 24-23, the Knights couldn't knot the score and dropped set one 25-23.
 
Tied at four in set two, the Saints 12 of the next 14 points to jump out to a 16-6 advantage. Neumann couldn't overcome the deficit and fell in set two 25-13. In set three, Marymount slowly built its lead throughout the set and came away with the 25-18 win and 3-0 match win.
