MEDIA, Pa. – A quick start led the Neumann University women's basketball team to a 68-50 win over Penn State Brandywine on Tuesday evening.
Lauren Klieber led the Knights with 15 points off the bench.
Terea Hunt tallied 12 points while
Allyson Wills scored 11.
Kate Glanz netted eight points.
Jacqueline Wardrop hit a three-pointer 10 seconds into the game to start Neumann on an 11-0 run. The Knights continued to build their lead throughout the half. Glanz connected on a three-pointer as the last basket of the half and Neumann took a 36-20 lead into the break.
The Knights held a double-digit lead for the rest of regulation. Neumann's largest lead came midway through the fourth quarter, 65-40, on another three-pointer by Glanz.
Neumann (4-5) returns home on Friday evening to host Goucher. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 PM.
