ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University baseball team hosted Wesley College in an Atlantic East Conference play-in game on Tuesday afternoon. The Wolverines won by an 8-3 score.
Marcus White went 3-for-4 from the plate, knocking in two runs.
Nick Glebocki started the game on the mound and went 6.0 innings in the loss. He allowed seven runs on 10 hits and struck out five.
Tyler Szilagyi started the seventh inning.
Brennan Hatala went 1.2 innings, striking out three.
Josh Cruz rounded out the game, pitching the ninth inning.
The Wolverines didn't waste any time and started the game with a single, double and triple for a 2-0 lead. Wesley added two more runs for a 4-0 lead in the top of the first.

Zach Ray led off the bottom of the first with back-to-back walks. With the bases loaded, White hit a two-run single to cut Wesley's lead in half.
Wesley added single runs in the third, fifth, sixth and seventh for an 8-2 lead. The Knights loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh and scored a run as
Shawn Vega reached out an RBI fielders choice to knock in Ray.
The Knights could not put together a really to get back into the game and fell 8-3.
Neumann wraps up the 2021 season 9-13.
