BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's soccer team hit the road for the first time this season, falling at Goucher College 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Leona Macrina made three saves in net for the Knights.
Lexi Concklin and
Chloe Britton were able to tally shots for Neumann.
The Gophers scored a goal in each half, 30
th minute and 55
th minute, en route to the 2-0 final.
Britton had the first shot for the Knights, early in the second half, that went wide. Concklin had a late chance, but Gouchers goalie came in for the save.
Neumann (3-5) heads into conference play next Wednesday when it will host Gwynedd Mercy University. Action is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
