ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The Neumann University women's soccer team fell at St. Mary's University 1-0 on Wednesday evening in its last non-conference match-up.
The Knights played hard and fought the entire game to find the net. Neumann had ten shots, six going on goal.
Rebecca Spence led the team with three shots, two coming on net.
Neumann outshot St. Mary's 7-5 in the first half as the teams played to a scoreless 45 minutes. The Seahawks scored the lone goal of the game in the 75
th minute for the 1-0 score.
Lex Navarro made the start in net and made four saves for the Knights.
Neumann (6-8-2) will host Marywood on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:00 PM. Prior to the game, the Knights will honor their seniors.
