ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Marywood University on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference match-up.
Prior to the game, the Knights honored its senior class and graduate students:

All scoring game in the first half. The Pacers scored in the 12
th minute on a penalty kick.
Jaclyn Burmood had a great chance in the 22
nd minute as her shot from outside the box was heading to the top of the net. Marywood's keeper was able to get a hand on the ball to knock it out of harms way.
Britton celebrated senior day with her team-leading sixth goal of the season. The senior took a corner kick that curved into the top the of the net to tie the game at one in the 38
th minute.
The Knights had a great look in to break the tie in the 75
th minute. Thomas crossed the ball over to Britton, who had a great shot, but again the Pacer keeper was able to make the stop and keep the game knotted at one.
Leona Macrina made five saves in net. Neumann had six shots in the game, five going on net. Marywood tallied 17 shots, but the Knights defense was storing and only six made it on net. The tie broke an eight-game winning streak for the Pacers.
Neumann (6-8-3, 3-1-1 Atlantic East) will wrap up the regular season on Wednesday when it hosts Centenary. The conference match-up is slated for 4:00 PM.
