RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team fell at Cabrini University 2-0 on Wednesday evening in an Atlantic East Conference match-up.
The Cavaliers scored both goals in the first half, coming in the 16
th and 34 minutes. The Knights played a hard game and fought the whole to find the back of the net. As the game went on the Knights had three corner kicks, none of which could find the net. As the game came to its last couple minutes, the Knights had one more chance with a corner kick in the 84
th minute but were not able to capitalize.
Leona Macrina made nine saves in net for the Knights. Neumann finished with 8 shots overall, five going on net.
Riley Adinolfi and
Emily Montague each had two shots.
Neumann (4-7-2, 1-1 Atlantic East) will host Immaculata on Tuesday evening beginning at 7:00 PM.
