MADISON, N.J. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team fell at Drew University on Thursday evening. Set scores were 25-12, 25-22 and 25-18.
Josiah Melendez led the Knights with 12 kills.
Eric Van Horn added 10 kills.
Jules Maiorano handed out 21 assists.
Down 22-18 in the second set, the Knights rallied to score four of the next five points to pull within one, 23-22. The Rangers held on for the next two points to take set two 25-22.
The teams were tied at 11 in the third set, but Drew scored five of the next six for a 16-12 advantage.
Neumann (7-12) wraps up the 2022 schedule on Saturday when it travels to Elizabethtown for a tri-match. The Knights will face Randolph-Macon at 3:00 PM, followed by Elizabethtown at 5:00 PM.
