RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell to Cabrini University 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon in Atlantic East Conference action.
The Knights took two of three matches in doubles play to start the afternoon.
Hannah Asaka and
Kylie Seeger won first doubles 8-5. The deo of
Kaitlyn Smith and
Nicole Turner took second doubles, also 8-5.
In singles action, Asaka won her match in the first flight. After falling 6-4 in the first set, the sophomore won the second set 6-4 and the tiebreaker 10-4. Seeger also battled to a win at third singles. She dropped the first match 6-2 before winning the second set 6-4 and the tiebreaker 10-1.
Neumann (1-5, 0-3 Atlantic East) will host Immaculata tomorrow afternoon for an Atlantic East Conference matchup beginning at 3:30 PM.
