GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team dropped a close 5-4 match to Gwynedd Mercy University in the final Atlantic East Conference matchup of the regular season.
 
The Knights opened strong by taking two of three doubles matches. Hannah Asaka and Kylie Seeger won first doubles 8-5. Kannitha Phousouvanh-Suthong and Sarah Oziminski took third doubles 8-7 (7-4).
 
Emma Swansburg picked up a forfeit win at sixth singles. Kaitlyn Smith battled for a win at second singles, 7-5, 3-6, 10-7.
 
Neumann finishes its season 1-7 overall and 0-5 in conference action.
