ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University baseball team fell to Marywood University 7-4 on Friday evening in an Atlantic East Conference contest.
Nate Griffin started the game on the mound and went 6.0 innings. He allowed five runs, two earned, on seven hits while striking out five.
Nick Colon pitched 3.0 innings and allowed two runs on two hits.
Nick Glebocki opened the scoring with a solo homerun in the bottom of the first inning. The Pacers answered back with a run in the top of the second and a solo shot of their own in the third to take a 2-1 lead.
Glebocki walked in the home half of the third, stole second, and came around to score on a single by
Ryan Lopez for a 2-2 game. Marywood took advantage of some Neumann miscues in the fourth and scored three unearned runs to take a 5-2 advantage.

Colin Pollard singled to score
Andrew Curran and
Zach Ray to pull within one, 5-4. In the top of the eighth, Marywood hit a two-run double to add some insurance runs.
Neumann (7-12, 3-4 Atlantic East) and Marywood will meet again tomorrow for a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 PM in Scranton
