ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann women's soccer team dropped their contest against Ramapo 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Leona Macrina made six saves for the Knights in the net, in the first 70 minutes.
Lex Navarro made one save in the last 20 minutes of the contest. The Knights tallied seven shots in the game, led by
Maddy Crossley with a pair.
The Roadrunners scored two goals in each half of the contest for the 4-0 final. Ramapo opened the scoring in the 23
rd minute and added its second in the 29
th. The Roadrunners scored the second half goals 10 minutes apart (60
th and 70
th minutes).
The Knights had some great chances in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Rebecca Spence had a shot heading toward the top corner of the net, but the Roadrunner keeper made a diving save. Crosley had her two shots late in the game as well, with her second shot needing to be a diving save as well.
Neumann (1-4-2) will travel to Cedar Crest College on Wednesday. Action is slated to begin at 6:00 PM
