WAYNE, N.J. – The Neumann University field hockey team dropped a 7-0 game at William Paterson University on Saturday afternoon.
The Pioneers scored two goals in the first, two in the second, one in the third and two in the fourth for the 7-0 final. The first goal game in the third minute and William Paterson didn't look back.
Meg Frame made three saves in net for the Knights.
Emma Schneider had two saves in the second half.
Kylie Fitchett tallied a shot on net.
Neumann (3-5) will host Susquehanna on Thursday in the last tune-up before conference action gets underway. Action is set to get underway at 4:00 PM.
