ASTON Pa. - Four Knights finished with double-digits in points as the Neumann University Women's Basketball team closed out non-conference play with a 79-56 triumph over Penn State Brandywine.

Lauren Klieber led the effort with a game-high 18 points while also leading in rebounds with seven.
Lindsay Holden added 14 points with
Terea Hunt scoring 11.
Aubrie Breisblatt came off the bench to pick up 11 points of her own.
Emily DuPont was the defensive star with seven boards and five steals.

Each Knights that saw time tallied at least a point or rebound.

For the first five minutes of the game, it was a back-and-forth affair. With the score even at nine with 5:44 left in the first quarter, the Knights used the next 2:22 to put together a 10-0 run, capped off by a
Mia Blume three-point bucket. Brandywine started the second with a 6-2 run of their own to pull within seven, but Neumann closed the half with nine straight points for a 37-21 advantage at the midway break.

It was more of the same in the third quarter as the Knights went on an 11-2 run helping to push the lead to 23 by the end of the frame. Neumann opened the fourth on an 11-3 run and they were able to coast from there.Â

Neumann (7-6) will open conference play on Saturday when it hosts Marywood. Action is slated to begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the men at 3:00 PM. Â
