ASTON, Pa. - The Neumann University Men's Soccer team earned a 4-0 victory against Centenary University on Wednesday night in their Atlantic East conference opener.
 
Jon Zubert got the first goal in the first half in the 13th minute. Neumann then doubled their lead on a goal by Jake Kuzmick after an assist from Eddie Proud at the 55-minute mark. Patrick Oliveira scored twice after getting assists from Luke Mejia in the 69^th minute of the game and then shortly after in the 70^th minute.
 
The Cyclones had their chances as they hit the post a total of three times. Eddie Proud led the Knights with five shots, followed by Zubert and Oliveira with four each, with Jon Yinger and Jake Kuzmick each firing two. Neumann only needed one save total this game from goalie Seth Walker with Carson Metzger replacing him with 20 minutes left in the game to share the shutout.
 
The Knights(3-4-1, 1-0 Atlantic East) will stay at home for their next match as they host the Marywood University Pacers on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
