RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team fell 21-11 to Cabrini University on Wednesday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference semifinal contest.
Brylin Adams and
Lindsey Fagan each scored four goals in the game.
Maggie Blemings tallied two goals and handed out four assists. Fagan grabbed 10 draw controls and Adams added four.
Catriona Corrigan made six saves in net.
The Cavaliers opened by scoring the first four goals of the contest. Adams put the Knights on the board with 6:35 left in the first quarter for a 4-1 score.
Alison Mallon also scored in the first for Neumann and Cabrini held a 6-2 lead at the first break.
Cabrini extended its lead to 10-2 before Adams scored back-to-back goals. Adams tallied her fourth goal of the game in the final minute for a 12-5 score at halftime.
Blemings scored her two goals early in the third quarter, back-to-back, for a 13-7 score. Fagan got on the board late in the third quarter and scored Neumann's three goals in the fourth.
Neumann finishes its season 12-6 overall.
