DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The Neumann University Field Hockey team dropped a 4-1 non-conference decision at Delaware Valley University on Tuesday night.

The first quarter of play was scoreless until the Knights'
Mia Black notched the first goal of the game in the 11
th minute. Delaware Valley's Kenzie Boyd then scored the equalizer with 26 seconds left in the first quarter.

The Knights' defense held strong throughout the second quarter, but the Aggies took the lead with five minutes remaining. Neumann held Delaware Valley to a 2-1 score despite giving up nine shots and five penalty corners.

The Knights possessed the ball for majority of third quarter, but Delaware Valley found the back of the goal with 30 seconds remaining in the third quarter. The Aggies then added a fourth goal in the beginning of the fourth quarter for the win.

Natalie Zoffer each had three shots with Black scoring her first goal this season.
Lindsey Naulty had 5 saves in this contest.

Neumann(1-6) will now head to King's College on Saturday afternoon. The game will begin at 3:30 PM.
