GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team opened the fall portion of the 2023-24 season at Arcadia University on Wednesday afternoon, falling 7-2.
 
Arcadia opened the match by taking all three doubles matches. Daniel Bonowski and Jason Petrin at first doubles and Anthony Carpinella and Joe Troilo at second doubles each battled but fell 8-4.
 
Petrin picked up a win at second doubles. After falling 6-2 in the first set, he won set two 6-4 and the tir breaker 7-6 (5-0). James Leuzzi won his superset at sixth singles 8-3 for Neumann's second point.
 
Neumann (0-1) will host Eastern on Saturday afternoon in the first home match of the season. Action is slated to get underway at 12:00 PM.
