ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Eastern University 7-2 on Saturday afternoon.
The duo of
Hannah Asaka and
Alura Troilo won second doubles 8-1 to open the match.
Kylie Seeger and
Dari Troilo won 8-5 at first doubles for a 2-1 lead after doubles action.
D. Troilo won her match at first singles 6-0, 6-1. Asaka won 6-2, 6-3 at second singles. A. Troilo (6-1, 6-) and Seeger (6-0, 6-0) made quick work at third and fourth singles.
Kayleigh DellaVecchio rounded out the afternoon with a 6-2, 6-3 win at fifth singles.
The only points given up by the Knights were due to forfeits at third doubles and sixth singles.
Neumann (1-1) will wrap up the fall season next Saturday when it hosts Rutgers-Camden beginning at 12:00 PM.
