NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team fell at Albertus Magnus College 3-1 on Friday afternoon in non-conference action.
The Falcons scored a goal in each period for their three goals. The Knights scored at the 5:43 mark of the second period to tie the game at one.
Tyler Inlow found the back of the net off assists from
Cameron Hatziioannou and
Ben Gibbons. AMC took the lead back with three second left before the second intermission.
Cole DeFazio made 31 saves in net for the Knights.
Luke Croucher went 13-for-17 in the face-off circle. The Knights took only one penalty in the game. Inlow and
Zach Thompson led the Knights with three shots each.
Neumann (5-9) will face-off with Albertus Magnus again tomorrow afternoon. The puck is slated to drop at 5:00 PM.
