ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell 9-0 at Nazareth University on Friday evening in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) action.
The Golden Flyers scored a pair of goals in the first two periods for a 4-0 lead. Nazareth then netted five in the third for the 9-0 final.
Ella Sciborski started in net and made 60 saves.
Sydney Babin made six saves in nine minutes in the third period.
Jamiyah Alexander had two shots on goal for the Knights.
Cecelia Mick blocked two shots.
Neumann (4-10-2, 0-9-2 UCHC) and Nazareth will play the second game of the pair of UCHC contests tomorrow. Puck drop is slated for 2:00 PM.
